Settlers VI is functional under Linux using WINE, but I expect Photon would work better. As for Adobe software, which bits do you need? Krita covers Photoshop and Illustrator in one, and we use Saola Animate for our Flash replacement at my digital signage company, which can work under WINE perfectly well, or in a VM. Fair enough! I’d personally recommend Godot, because it’s FOSS, has a really nice way of doing things (in my opinion), and a language that’s similar enough to Go that when I was first learning Go I’d frequently use terms from GDScript! It’s the kind of think you can learn in a few hours. Give it a shot if you’re just getting into dev! Source: 5 months ago
