So im mainly a sample based producer and am always looking for more, and I came across Samplefocus, a websites with "royalty free" samples, basically like all the other ones, that are based on people uploading there own samples for others to use. I've been using mixkit a lot lately. Someone already mentioned this, but I often also use sounds for things other than what they are. For example I think I recently used a cow coughing for an explosion. For gun sound effects you might look for things being dropped or things hitting other things. Source: 12 months ago
