I called just a while ago and the CS agent looked into it. Apparently (according to her) it only triggers automatically if it is coded Saks.com. I paid through the Saks app and it apparently coded 'saksfifthavenue.com'. The CS agent even went to Saks.com and was re-routed to saksfifthavenue.com. . Apparently Amex's system doesn't auto-trigger the credit in this case. Source: 10 months ago

I've had my eye on them for a little while and that's pretty much the best deal I've seen. You can also buy from saksfifthavenue.com. They often have 10% off and other offers. Not a stupid question at all. Currently saks.com is the same as saksfifthavenue.com, but it is technically a luxury e-commerce company that is separate from the Saks Fifth Avenue fleet of brick-and-mortar stores. Both are owned by the Hudson Bay Company and you can do stuff like return items from saks.com to your local store, but it sounds like these will probably diverge more significantly in the future. So I made a mini plotter based on this tutorial, and while the g-codes the site uses as examples are working fine, when I try to upload my own g-codes, they fail. More specifically, they either try to make an image way bigger than the range of the machine, and they aren't lowering the pen correctly. I've been using jscut.org to convert svg files to gcode, and I think it's probably because the site is suboptimal... Source: over 2 years ago
