I am actually Italian and also there healthcare is public, in Germany it's a mix. When out of Europe, one has just to buy an international insurance, most of them cover worldwide, others cover macroregions. Have you considered reimbursing your employees per month for their health insurance? For example, they could buy health insurance in their country and you could reimburse them.
