• New to Roku after finally cutting the cable cord, 2 questions.

  "Question 2: I bought two Roku Ultras" - You activate both Rokus on the same account on roku.com. I've had a Roku Ultra for some time and recently bought a Roku Express 4K for the guest bedroom for visiting relatives. When I activated the new Roku on my account it automatically duplicated all my apps on to the new one. But test each app, a few required me to log in on the new Roku. Source: about 1 year ago

  Can something similar be done on roku.com? I tried following your steps for this video https://therokuchannel.roku.com/watch/67ca18fb4816521db4f188855569c21e but I noticed the type is not hls but mp4. • Just got this 50” roku sharp tv and tried setting up last night only to be met with this message everytime i try to click a channel. It’s saying there’s an “excellent” internet and wifi connection and yet nothing works on it. i have tried everything in the book including 2 factory resets i’m lost

• Unauthorized Roku charges through my Paypal account.

  Easier said than done with an elderly parent, but have your mom go to roku.com, reset her password, and give you the password. Then you should be able to go in and remove any payment method (presumably your PayPal), cancel any subscriptions, etc. Source: over 1 year ago

• Maybe easy maybe hard maybe impossible?

  I am not sure I have been reading up on qbittorent proxy in just the last few minutes and it looks like I would have to pay for a proxy server then have all requests sent to that proxy server in which would then send them to my qbittorent? Am I in the general ballpark as to how to make this work? If so I may just keep doing everything manually like I have been doing for years until I get the nerve to try all this.... • I messed something up and now I can't delete and reset server fresh no matter what i try.

  Has Sync Watch State & Ratings ever been enabled for your account (Settings)? If so, then the server is pulling the info from your account at plex.tv. Source: 6 months ago

• Yet another help with remote access - Plex and Nginx

  I'm pretty confused about what the missing link is here. Usually it works fine on LAN, but sometimes is marked as indirect or insecure. The mobile app seems to work on WAN, but not usually plex.tv. Can anyone help me understand how plex networking works? Thanks! Source: 6 months ago
