I saw www.calltrackingmetrics.com ; ringcentral.com ; twilio.com ; Zadarma. At this moment it seems that calltrackingmetrics seems to be the first solution I would try because they put in front of their ads the fact to track with google ads. Twilio seems to be too much complex to use and they don't have an iPhone app ; ringcentral I don't know and Zadarma seems good. Source: almost 3 years ago

I'm also curious because it seems like using a phone with no strings attached today seems almost impossible unless you get an actually old phone, which either works poorly or costs a lot as part of a retro collection or something. To be very frank, I was also thinking that another reason people tend to use Whatsapp is that it’s not really tied to any actual account as in the case of iCloud, right? It’s just a phone number that’s required, and so if you want to stay private, or just log in with a fake account, you can use a free phone number for verification, just as you would do with some disposable temporary mail when you want to log in to... While searching for another way out, I stumbled upon a service called quackr.io. It claims to provide temporary phone numbers for registration confirmation purposes. Using fake numbers for app verification is quite tempting, and I read that it's a savior when it comes to website registration. Does anyone know any free sms sites that will let me get a code?
