Resolume seems to be more VJ oriented than light sequencing, xLights while functional seems a bit simple and not focused for music, and of course there's GrandMA3 for personal use but that seems way too complex/overkill. Source: about 1 year ago

This is a pretty broad question, but the answer is absolutely yes. The most obvious answer is Unreal Engine, and Notch also comes to mind (https://www.notch.one), but there are plenty of others.
