That's what I thought. But do you sometimes receive any e-mails from the new 'RE portal' at https://game.capcom.com/residentevil/en/? Since the change from the old RE Portal to the new RE portal I just linked to, I haven't received any e-mail about RE (portal) except for these childish ones. Ethan's base health is 1000 according to resident evil.net. I don't know how much health Ethan gains, but I would guess something around 100 or so. For example, the LEMI does 100 damage without upgrades, so you would need to shoot Ethan 10 times until he's dead. Enemies also have this HP system, I think Lady D, for example, has around 8000 HP on VOS in her boss fight. Source: over 2 years ago

They looked at the reverse engineered source code and used it to write the code for RE3 and reVC, code which technically infringes on Rockstar's copyright. If they had used clean room design like OpenRW they wouldn't have ended up with a lawsuit in the first place. Source: over 2 years ago

Support projects like openrw instead. 2k nuked a ton of the other ones that used decompiled ps2 code, but they can't touch OpenRW because it's a rewrite from scratch. Source: over 2 years ago
