  • Has anyone else found the Amazon Word templates to be a NIGHTMARE?
I have friends who have used the free book formatter from Reedsy and they really liked the results: https://reedsy.com/write-a-book. Source: almost 1 year ago
  • Looking for writing processor
If what you are looking for is software that specializes in writing books then office-like software is not ideal. You can use them, many do but they are not created for that, they are not optimized for that. I suggest you try other types of software. For example. Novascriber - It has a learning curve equal to that of scrivener, in the sense that you have to study a little bit before you can use it to its best... Source: about 1 year ago
  • 1st time on a shoestring writer
Reedsy's book editor is free, if you are thinking of formatting. https://reedsy.com/write-a-book It'll crank out e-books and paperbacks for you. Source: about 1 year ago
  • A helpful website!
Reedsy works well at making distribution-ready files of your book. Source: over 1 year ago
  • chromebook too slow for writing. tips?
Since you're specifically trying to write—a book, I guess—it may be worthwhile trying to find an app designed for that. A quick search came up with Draft (https://draftin.com/) and Reeday Book Editor (https://reedsy.com/write-a-book). I haven't used these myself, so take a look around. Source: over 1 year ago

  • Voice Over Artist For Audiobooks & Stories - Available For Royalty Share or Fixed Fee
I'm willing to work on a royalty share deal or a fixed fee (PFH), so I'm offering you an opportunity to submit me your work. The story that I connect with I'll do the graphic part for, finalize the audio and pay for the https://publishdrive.com/ fee so we can make some income together, even a little ;). Source: 11 months ago
  • Quick question regarding publishing
Draft2Digital. https://www.draft2digital.com. It’s for E-books. They are testing a print service and I’m still on the waiting list. Publishdrive https://publishdrive.com. Never used, but they they charge a subscription instead of taking part of your royalties. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Where and How to Publish Your Book
PUBLISHDRIVE: Publishdrive requires a monthly payment to publish your books. You get more royalty, but it will cost more each month. There is an App sumo coupon running around if you want to try it. I would be very cautious and read the fine print. I don’t use them. They are kind of a nightmare to deal with.
