If what you are looking for is software that specializes in writing books then office-like software is not ideal. You can use them, many do but they are not created for that, they are not optimized for that. I suggest you try other types of software. For example. Since you're specifically trying to write—a book, I guess—it may be worthwhile trying to find an app designed for that. Mixing weed and snow: Visual Distrotions?
