Ok, this is me giving up tonight, I will try again in the morning but this is the situation: Clearly http://redditpoll.com/ have changed thier system during November. I had worked out the things I needed to do to get the poll to work, including manually changing the date to date/month rather than month/date. But this does not work anymore, I will tomorrow do a million of those test ones with just A or B to try to... Source: over 2 years ago

I didn't go crazy with optimizing the timing of posts, but I'd recommend it at least for Reddit. There's a great site [Later For Reddit](https://laterforreddit.com/) that will help you get the times for specific subreddits that have had the most successful posts. Source: 11 months ago

Go to https://laterforreddit.com/ and find all information about each subreddit- when to post, best keywords etc. (their subreddit research tool does not compare to this technique). Source: about 1 year ago

If you're worried about just having a post or discussion on Reddit where people can see it, half of it is timing your posts. Usually you can post at midnight/1am ESTish and people will see your post around 7 or 8 in the morning. The sweetspot may fluctuate depending on where you post, but if you want people to see it try using laterforreddit.com and schedule the perfect time for your post. JUST MAKE SURE your post...
