If you're talking about physical inventory (i.e., housing and inventory management) I use a company called Red Stag. I pay anywhere around $1k-$3k per month (varies on the season bcs of the items I sell). Source: almost 2 years ago
Those middleman benefits are spot on! Also, I think you can have control on stocks if you use a fulfillment center (esp.3PL fulfillment) -- I've been dropshipping for 5 years now, and using a 3PL company helps me manage my stocks. Source: about 2 years ago
It depends on what you're looking for. A 3PL is a good option if you need help with order fulfillment and don't have the staff or resources to do it in-house. Warehouses are a better option if you want more control over your inventory and can handle order fulfillment yourself. I've been using this 3PL service from RedStag and has been huge help cause I don't have the manpower or resources to handle order... Source: about 2 years ago
You should also ask for references from other companies that have worked with the 3PL in the past and ask about the quality services and handling. And most importantly, find a 3PL that is cost-effective/or offers a reasonable cost, and can adapt to your specific needs. Because not all 3PLs are created equal. So be sure to do your research and ask lots of questions before making a decision. Source: about 2 years ago
Hhhhhmmm I use this company for my fulfillment - https://redstagfulfillment.com/, I sell nonperishable goods though, so not sure if they cater to plants too. Source: over 2 years ago
Totally regional dependent. Check out the website 'winnie.com'. If they serve your area you can see which daycares have 'openings available now'. In my area major metropolitan there are a ton of openings - you call them a year in advance and they say 'call me a few months before'. But if there are openings you can always waitlist if you see one you really love but send them somewhere else with immediate openings... Source: 11 months ago

I have 3 young kids of my own and have spent much of the last 7 years finding and managing child care for my family. Several of my friends are directors or employees working in child care, and more recently I joined a child care marketplace company that helps providers find clients (see winnie.com to create a web presence, find clients, and hire staff).
