Check out Radiooooo it’s like pandora but you choose a country, a decade, and a vibe (slow/fast/weird). Source: 11 months ago
Oh wait, there’s another app for that called radioooo you can select a country and a decade. I’d try Nigeria in the 80’s, Zaire in the 70’s and 80’s and Ghana around then too. Oh and South Africa as well, though that will be more horns and electrics. Source: 12 months ago
Hey y'all, I usually dig around for random obscure stuff in second hand record stores, but recently have been using radiooooo.com to give me a random track from a country and decade of my choice. it's awesome so far and I've found some really cool stuff, but I was wondering if there are any other services or apps people in here use to find obscure music. In the same spirit you have radiooooo where you can chose a country + a time period and you get a nice playlist. I've Discovered Amazing song on it. Source: about 1 year ago
You need to use a song recognition API if you want it to be source agnostic. Here's the first result on Google, gives all the info you want I think .https://audd.io/ So it's just matter of adding a microphone to the controller , plus and required drivers and writing some code to run the API query against the current input from the mic, and outputting that to whatever you want. In this article, an application will be built using JavaScript and Node.js where a simple chatbot will be implemented using the Zenvia platform to integrate with WhatsApp channel and the AudD platform to integrate with music recognition in order to test some features of the WhatsApp channel such as sending and receiving text, image and audio messages. - Source: dev.to / almost 2 years ago
AudD got me the linked YouTube song. I got her Wikipedia and found the other song by Kirche. Listened to both and concluded that they're not the same. Nacht means Night in German and the only thing on her Wikipedia about "night" is ヨルオトヒョウホン(夜音標本). So I googled it and it was the right album. Source: almost 2 years ago
