  • Is this censorship or is the site just broken?
If you go to ecosia.org or qwant.com on any mobile browser (Safari, Chrome, etc.,.) and search for ghandi you also get no results. Its only when the search query ends in ghandi, for example "ghanid date of birth" returns results fine. Source: about 1 year ago
  • James O'Keefe on Project Veritas Being Suspended by YouTube over Blockbuster Pfizer Expose
Use qwant.com - DuckDuckGo is also useless. I haven't found anything better and I'm really happy with it. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Pathetic, Google.
Why don’t you try Qwant? Brave Search and Ecosia are also good options, but DuckDuckGo’s results are a little lacking. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Just switched to Linux now going to switch to duck duck go
DuckDuckGo is turning into the next Google. Try another search engine like brave browser or qwant.com. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Have you all heard about duckduckgone? So who's the replacement
Added it using the extension? Well, there is a better way. First remove the extension. Second, in the search bar type https://qwant.com and go to the website. Now right click on the search bar and you will see an option to add Qwant to the list of search options. Just add it and you will not see any pop ups. Source: about 2 years ago

  • Setting up a www subdomain on a self-hosted Ghost blog
Ghost CMS makes it fairly easy to link your blog to your own domain and set up SSL. The ghost setup command in ghost-cli basically does it for you. However, for me it didn't automatically set up a www subdomain. So I could access, say, https://https://myblog.lol, but https://www.myblog.lol would result in a 502. I was thinking of just adding a CNAME or ALIAS record in my providers DNS settings, but that didn't... - Source: dev.to / 15 days ago
  • Proton and Standard Notes are joining forces
Diversifying a lot. Next acquisition will be Ghost(https://ghost.org/) I bet. Similar DNA, fits in the portfolio (If they are trying to match the feature set of Google) and have no VC backing. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 months ago
  • Why I Care Deeply About Web Accessibility And You Should Too
For example, if you are in a country where you can accept Stripe and are publishing a newsletter through, Substack or using the Ghost platform, enabling the ability to accept payments is a few clicks away. For those who cannot accept payment with Stripe, well, you are up the creek without a paddle. I do not know about you, but I see that as a barrier to access. - Source: dev.to / 2 months ago
