follow.it might be a bit more popular than QuiteRSS. We know about 10 links to it since March 2021 and only 8 links to QuiteRSS. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
I rely on RSS to follow posts to such sites. This one does not advertise an RSS feed in the page metadata, but one seems to be available at https://kbin.social/rss?magazine=haskell. This feed does not validate, but it works in my feed reader (QuiteRSS, which I switched to specifically because Thunderbird refused to parse invalid feeds that I wanted to follow). I use an offline feed reader (QuiteRSS on desktop and Feeder on Android, and both of them aren't synced) - so whatever tracking happens is due to the links themselves. On desktop I use Pure URL to strip tracking parameters from all links. Haven't found anything that actually works for Iceraven on Android. Source: almost 2 years ago
So this used to be a problem before and I "solved it" by reducing the Number of requests in QuiteRSS down to 2. But considering I had 1000s of channels that I keep track of, it became painfully slow. But it did "solve" the problem. So I stuck with it. Source: over 2 years ago
I've looked into follow.it, since that's what Coding Horror uses, and that looks pretty darn close. One issue there I'm trying to figure out is I'd like to avoid putting the entire blog content on another site, but rather direct people back to my site, and it looks like the entire blog post goes on that site.
