PPL Student, day job in infosec. Years ago when I was still in a junior role, I had swing shifts in the security operations center. My trick was 20min nap when I could pull it off. Https://pzizz.com/ - Phone app that plays dynamic music and narration to help you get to sleep, has a free version. Personally I found this worked well. Went through a period of having trouble getting to sleep and then waking up in the middle of the night feeling very stressed. This helped me get to sleep and helped me get back to sleep. Https://getharvest.com/ : time tracker for contract work. Source: about 1 year ago
I use getharvest.com to track hourly and convert them to invoice. The only thing I don't like is that I have to add the task in the web dashboard rather than entering directly in the desktop app. There is 'note' field, but it won't show up in the invoice detail, so it is useless for me.
