• Good resources for learning Turkish?

  I learned Turkish for the same reason! Besides taking an actual course, which I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to do at my university, my favorite online course was Elon.io.   Have been using Duolingo for almost a year. Start with one lesson and then do my class work (Altay). My teacher has also recommended elon.io and Cambridge's Student grammar. Source: about 1 year ago

  Are you going to study before getting there? I recommend you learn the basics so it's not too overwhelming at first. Go through a self-teaching textbook like "Teach Yourself Turkish" or "The Delights of Learning Turkish", reinforce what you learn with exercices on elon.io, listen to Language Transfer and you'll be fine :D.
