There's an in-between option that can work (depending on the size and complexity of your site. Managed WordPress hosts like (WPengine.com, WordPress.com, pressable.com, etc) offer WordPress specific support that can help sort out various WP problems for you. Both sets of NS servers maintain their own catalogs, so while ns1.godaddy.com will have the correct A records, MX, TXT, records etc, if the true information is at pressable.com NS you'll need to do a dig -t ALL on pressable.com's NS first, get all the data, and make sure it matches on GoDaddy's before changing the NS for the site. If you want to go super cheap, Blogger is still free (owned by Google now) and I think they allow a custom CNAME so you can attach it to your domain. ---------- Wordpress (in the cloud) doesn't require setup, since it's all hosted for you.
