First things first, you'll need to register a domain if you haven't already. You can do this through any domain registrar like GoDaddy, Porkbun, or even Cloudflare itself. - Source: dev.to / 3 days ago
One thing you will need to do for yourself is buy the domain name. There are lots of good places. I’ve been a fan of Porkbun and Namesilo. I don’t think there’s a huge difference for which registrar you use, but I like these because they offer WHOIS privacy and email forwarding at no extra charge on top of their already low prices. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
One domain I have had for over 20 years was originally purchased with GoDaddy. I then transferred to Google Domains when that opened up for supposedly better integration with Google Workspace. Check porkbun.com, namesilo.com, then namecheap.com. They offer most but not all TLDs but each offers a few the other doesn't. There are some that none of them offer so you can try GoDaddy but they're pricey. Those three are among your best bets for long term low pricing. Source: 6 months ago
218,691 registered domains. [1] $3M/month. M as in million, not mille [2]? Mille is still commonly used in accounting [3] $36M/year is $164.61 per registered domain per year. I'm not a fan of godaddy, their UI is horribly cluttered and a mess but they do offer most services you might need. I've used directnic.com for years and they've been reliable. Namecheap.com is decent as well. I pay google their $6/user/mo to have a gmail like interface. Source: over 2 years ago
