  For the most curious my motivation comes from VR. I prototype in VR, WebXR to be precise, so the foundational primitive for VR scenes are 3D models, hence the interest. Also if that helps there are repositories of 3D models with a certain style, like "low poly" (few polygons to be usable on low end devices) e.g https://poly.pizza/ that could help this kind of work.   If you want something more specific for client proofing, Picflow is AWESOME for this. It allows clients to draw and comment on photos to more specifically show you want they want fixed. IMO this probably better for commercial clients - I wouldn't want to make my wedding clients do all that extra work. Source: about 1 year ago
