  • I like DAZ3D but there are absolutely no models or assets for me.
Also, I didn't see it mentioned, but if it's environments that you are mostly after, one possible solution is to use HDRIs for the background. Obviously those are more limiting than a proper 3D environment but might be good if you are just doing static, one-off shots. You can get free ones of those from https://polyhaven.com and https://hdri-haven.com. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Hello blender, i am trying to put together a group to create a videogame.
Https://polyhaven.com Polyhaven has free textures, models, and HDRIs. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Reconnaissance Mission
As for rule 2 compliance, you may recall from the last post, I textured the duck with an image from unsplash. I used a terrain texture from polyhaven.com (was texturehaven.com back when I downloaded it.) I honestly cannot remember which tool I got the heightmap from, it was so long ago. • ALL HAIL KING DUCK
As per rule 2: I used a picture from unsplash to texture the duck. I used wood textures from polyhaven.com for the boat. All the modeling done in blender. Source: about 1 year ago

  • Is the Soundly Library Trustworthy? Possible Stolen Audio?
Now, I've also been using Soundly to help catalog and search through the sounds I have downloaded. Soundly also has their own audio library that users can download, and I was looking into whether this library could help justify their subscription cost for the pro version. When searching, I came across the following files:. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Audio asset generation with AI, similar to midjourney, stable diffusion, etc.
It already exists... Soundly has that voice designer now. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Any good, LEGIT sound libraries for indie/solo devs out there?
I hear that https://getsoundly.com/ is pretty good. Paid platform though. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Where to find good sounds (paying or not) ?
Soundly is good. They have reasonable prices and some discounts for mechanical sounds at the moment (Polyfjord on YT did a video recently, check it out). Source: over 1 year ago
  • Categories of Percussion Sounds
Depending on your needs, a sound librarian like Soundly might work for you. This way the name of the file doesn't matter too much, and you can add meta data to describe the sounds. Source: over 1 year ago
