That depends heavily on where you live. I can for example buy Bitcoin gift cards completely KYC free in my local post office here in Switzerland. And there are also KYC light exchanges (no sign up required but they get your info via bank contact) where I can get Bitcoin straight to my hardware wallet with a bank transfer ( pocketbitcoin.com ). I hate pushing my opinion on folks (because I really do respect folks who want to be fully done and they're completely valid) but I really do think there should be at least some consideration to the waves or ethos.io proposals (or more due diligence since it seemed like Binance and a few other companies were involved).
