You have a choice of maps for viewing air quality — either a color-coded 2D map or a Google Earth-like 3D version. PlugShare mentions (164)

  • First EV Trip
Obviously I'm being a little sarcastic, but I'm serious as well. ABRP answers about 90% of such questions, and plugshare.com answers the remaining ones ("how reliable are the chargers at XYZ location?"). Source: 5 months ago
  • New Ariya owner, any tips?
You can check recent check-ins at those chargers and find others in https://plugshare.com. Source: 8 months ago
  • I don't have EV, but can I charge my portable power station with a Tesla charging pile in supercharger station? Besides, I can't find a place near me to recharge my battery.
HOWEVER, you can setup to charge at a J1772 Level-2 charging station which are ALL over the place and often free. Checkout plugshare.com to find them. These are essentially fancy 220v chargers and can be converted to charge power banks and onboard batteries.... The question then becomes the legality of doing it in your area. Some places are designated "EV charging only." You're not an EV. Some places, like Oregon... Source: 10 months ago
  • First time EV user - what do I need to do to ensure a good experience ?
Before taking a trip and planning to rely on public chargers, check recent checkins to make sure the chargers you plan to use are working properly and to identify backup options just in case: http://plugshare.com. Source: 10 months ago
  • What portable power station is best/cheapest to charge my Leaf?
Use plugshare.com to find EV charging stations near your gym, grocery stores, restaurants, and other places were you spend some time. Not as inexpensive or as convenient as having a charger at your parking space. But probably much cheaper and convenient then your solution. Source: 10 months ago

  • AQHI – the superior AQI. Tracked only in Canada and Hong Kong. But you can calculate it yourself
Iqair.com has this info. If you want to track IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) the same way – PM2.5 can be tracked cheaply and reliably, but I assume not the rest. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Alternatives to Chiang Mai
I would advise heading South anywhere around Phuket should be better. Consult iqair.com for live updates on burning season and air index. https://www.msn.com/en-xl/news/other/chiang-mai-air-still-the-worst/ar-AA19iwO4. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Air Quality data over Joplin/Carthage
On the other hand, if you use Weather.com's data they report it's only a perfectly fine "27" which is "good"-- and iqair.com says it's also fine. Ditto airnow.gov-- nothing unusual to report. Source: over 1 year ago
  • What stinks downtown today?
Iqair.com says the downtown air quality index is 112 which is on the high side. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Not so purple anymore: Just a heads' up, Air is Hazardous (301 and up per purpleair chart), for everyone in the area right now.
The best site for air quality I've found so far is iqair.com. They seem to update fast and are the most accurate I've seen, including the ugly numbers in the 300s, in line with it looking particularly bad outside, as of this writing. They also show wind currents, and you can click on the side options to show or remove particular map-markers. Source: over 2 years ago
