  • A message to those who do Christian reviews of things like videogames.
Pluggedin.com does great Christian reviews (they focus more on movies than games, but they do review the popular ones). I actually read their review for Elden Ring, and it was pretty balanced (it was basically it's nice to bring light to a dark place, but there's a lot of gore and grotesque monsters). • Anyone miss the IMDB message boards?
What I liked about best about IMDb were the boards for old and obscure titles, away from the mainstream. When IMDb closed the boards, I tried a couple of the alternatives which carried over posts from the IMDb boards - moviechat.org and filmboards.com - but they never really took off so I gave up. • Anyone miss the IMDB message boards?
At the time IMDb closed the boards, moviechat.org ported a bunch of threads over there and you can still search up any (old or new) movie, tv show or actor and chat on the specific boards. It's obviously not as busy as the IMDb boards used to be, but it's something. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Who in this sub remembers the imdb discussion forums?
Most of it still survives, and continues, at moviechat.org. Source: over 1 year ago
