  • Can someone's Venmo/PayPal balance be approved to show up in a 3rd party app?
Oh this is a https://plaid.com/ use case I think. - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago
  • Need help finding simulation business bank accounts + credit cards
My company made a financial dashboard for small businesses that aggregates information from financial institutions into a simplified view. The problem I need to solve: our only way of showing what it looks like when in use, is by connecting our own bank accounts + credit cards, but of course that exposes our personal info. I'd like to setup a demo account using fake financial data that simulates a real world... Source: 10 months ago
  • Need A Solution to Amex Business Credit Card Data
I have been looking into this and found Plaid, Yodlee, and Flinks. I am not 100% if any of these will work. Source: 11 months ago
  • (Canada) Does anyone know of an API service that will users to connect with their personal bank and return things like their bank feed?

I've just found one company plaid.com, it doesn't have all the institutions I was hoping for but the majority of big... Source: 11 months ago

  • Which camp are you in? Statistician or Trader?
I'm lazy so I've typically kept to educational videos instead of books for the most part. I think https://tastytrade.com/ and https://optionalpha.com/education are both great resources. Source: 11 months ago

Therefore, poland-based XTB (https://www.xtb.com/int) and england-based IG group (https://tastytrade.com/) may enjoy the same freedom. But I know nothing about them personally. Source: 11 months ago
  • Fun way to learn python?
Better yet, Alpaca.com (the stock site) used to have a mostly free api where you can get good stock data. I say **mostly** free because the trick is, take $50 bucks, open an account with them and you get access to the api. You don't have to make a single trade, just let the $50 sit there. I think I've heard that tastytrade.com has an API now, you could do something similar. Tastytrade would be my preference, I'm... Source: 12 months ago
