I'm not sure it covers all your features listed, but I use PhotoStructure [1] for the 'album' side of things. It's been mentioned a bit on HN, which is where I found it. I had a similar issue with photos/videos and ended up building a cli app to organize everything, it has worked for my use case relatively well, still, there are uncovered corner cases. This is an issue for YEARS in icloud. Apples cloud is a mess since me.com... I also had a huge (about 2.5TB) photos library. I switched to mylio.com - in general its a great alternative. Source: 11 months ago
