10 Best Photopea Software Alternatives in 2024 (Free & Paid)
Photopea is a popular online photo editing tool that offers many of the features found in Adobe Photoshop but without the hefty price tag. It’s a great option for anyone looking for powerful editing capabilities without breaking the bank. However, Photopea isn’t the only option available. Photopea is a powerful image editor with PSD, XD, XCF, Sketch, and CDR files. Graphic...

At the same time, Pixlr also has some functionality that Photopea doesn’t have, like Pixlr X, they’re even more cut down and simple to use image editor that you can, for example, use to quickly edit up a photo for Instagram.
A free Photoshop alternative: No, it's not GIMP
Photopea and Photoshop's similarity in options and effects is fascinating. I like to use Curves adjustments as well as gradient maps in my Photoshop workflow. Photopea allowed me to follow the exact same workflow with ease. The performance was just as quick as Photoshop. Computational photo editing features, such as spot removal and cloning, aren't as fast, but they're...

Lossless Cut Reviews

  1. does a specific job very well

LosslessCut makes it very easy to cut out a section of video. It can also arrange sequences of cuts. It is very fast because it does not reformat the data; that also means it doesn't degrade the quality.

It only reliably cuts at video keyframes; this could be an issue if you want 100% precision on your cuts. It does not attempt other editing tasks such as reformat or region crop.

Like many video editors it is a GUI to ffmpeg. You can see the ffmpeg commands generated and use them outside LosslessCut if necessary.

    👍 Pros:    Easy to use|Fast
    👎 Cons:    Limited features

Use the free photopea.com. Close the top blue banner, if there is one, by clicking the X. Then load your photo and use the Color Replacement brush from the left tool bar to paint over the area with the new color. Select the new color first, so it appears in the palette at the bottom of the tool bar. • Show HN: CompressX, my FFmpeg wrapper for macOS, made $9k in the last 4 months
For lossless cut, there's the LosslessCut [1] app, which even has an experimental but mostly working version of a "smart cut" feature [2] (aka. Only re-encode the minimal mandatory amount of frames if you trim at a point between 2 key frames) [1]: https://github.com/mifi/lossless-cut. - Source: Hacker News / 2 months ago

    > thought I cropped/edited a video, it is still there in full length and resolution It's been possible to create a clip from a video file that merely changes what parts of the video are displayed without effecting the data in the original since the Classic Mac OS days. • Lossless Cut is my new favourite tool to cut parts from a video without any hassle
Lossless Cut is probably the simplest way to cut out parts of a video without having to re-encode it or use an online service. It is open source, free and available for all platforms. It is in essence a frontend for FFMPEG and cuts without re-encoding, so the results are instantaneous. - Source: dev.to / 8 months ago

Additionally I would like if possible to shorten (both to reduce dimension and to make them less boring) my videos by trimming the beginning and/or ends where often there is nothing interesting happening and possibly change the thumbnails for easier identification.
