A free Photoshop alternative: No, it's not GIMP
Photopea and Photoshop's similarity in options and effects is fascinating. I like to use Curves adjustments as well as gradient maps in my Photoshop workflow. Photopea allowed me to follow the exact same workflow with ease. The performance was just as quick as Photoshop. Computational photo editing features, such as spot removal and cloning, aren't as fast, but they're...

When the link was up, we were 100% sure the link was to "https://photopea.com". You can configure your computer, if you know how, to show you the link, if it doesn't already, when you hover over it with your mouse, or you click (or tap) and hold the link before you actually follow it. Use the free photopea.com. Close the top blue banner, if there is one, by clicking the X. Dark Room mentions (3)

  • A note taking app that uses .txt?
The only thing I know with half of those features that's discontinued is the old Darkroom app but that doesn't tackle some of the bigger compatibilities. Source: about 2 years ago
  • I have trouble shutting my internal editor off
Not sure if this is applicable, but if you're using Word or Scrivener or something, you may want to switch to a plaintext editor like Dark Room or Typora--something that won't underline your spelling and grammar mistakes. It doesn't even have italics or bold to get in your way. Dark Room is a little old, but I found it here: https://codex.jjafuller.com/books/dark-room/page/overview. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Anyone use a plain text editor to write?
I use DarkRoom. Full screen, no distractions, no "fancy" auto-formatting. Source: almost 3 years ago
