Another thing that I find handy is Photodiva, it's a portrait software that handles pictures just as good as Photoshop or Photoworks do, but it's just exceptionally good for quick editing of portraits. It also includes templates for paperback/hardcovers that makes it a snap to use and turn that cover into a very professional looking thing for the book. If you have the money, I recommend it! We also used fotor.com to upscale images and edit them well enough. Source: about 1 year ago
