Something I've always wanted to work on was a browser extension that allowed things like this to happen collaboratively. There's stuff like PeerLibrary[0] that lets you annotate things as a group, but it's limited to publications and things you upload. Nyxt seems to meet what I want but lacks the collaborative aspect I'm looking for. In terms of getting hold of these books and articles, this thread provides some useful (and legal) tips and some links provided in this thread, u/PhiloSpo also works to highlight open access works. Libraries are always an invaluable tool to recommend and can help you get hold of books, for me jstor.org with 100 articles a month on a free account, academia.edu has free papers have been very useful as a platform.... The problem here is that academia.edu is not perse a place where authors will upload their papers; it rather functions as a large academic PDF exchange. I have messaged the uploader a while back, but have not received a response. Source: 10 months ago
