  • Plex to block all servers hosted at Hetzner
When I used a Chromecast, I was fond of an even more direct method. I used a Node CLI called "peerflix" [0] to stream a video file while downloading its torrent (so there wasn't even a need to wait). Then I just opened my browser to the local network address where peerflix was hosting the h264 playlist, and used the Cast button to stream it to my device (which I believe technically means Chromecast "takes over"... - Source: Hacker News / 8 months ago
  • Just knock it off with your superiority flex just because you pirate your anime in a certain way, ok?
This is something I've repeated like 10 times on this subreddit, but you don't need to wait for a torrent to finish to start watching it. Literally every torrent client in the past decade supports downloading first piece files first, so you don't have to wait for the download to finish and can start watching it immediately. There's even stuff like peerflix which makes it easier. Source: about 3 years ago

  • Best current way to stream torrents inside chrome?
I use webtor.io for that. It also hides your IP address. Source: 5 months ago
  • okay m confused now
Proton VPN is free, but it doesn't let you torrent. I often use webtor.io which will torrent files for me, and then I can direct download from there. seedr.cc is also a good website for it. You give them the torrent file, they torrent it, then all you do is download your files like normal from the site. Source: 10 months ago
  • Is there a way to download individual episodes?
I'm using seedr.cc and webtor.io to stream the torrents, but I was concerned about whether really big arcs like cake island would work, and when I checked I was right, they were too big. Is there any way to get the individual episode torrent links to stream them? Source: about 1 year ago
  • What happened to the iOS app?
I use webtor.io and just watch things in the browser. Source: about 1 year ago
