So I want to upgrade to a gtx 1060 windforce oc 6gb since after some research that's the best gpu for my cpu. I look up how to check if motherboard is compatible with the gpu and the video shows a website pc-specs.com , I select the gpu and when I click the motherboard compatibility it shows a server error so I dont know what to do. Also pcpartpicker doesn't show my motherboard as compatible. Thanks! Source: over 1 year ago
Okay take this with a grain of salt, but according to pc-specs.com, it is compatible with a core i5 4690k, so you should be good. Source: almost 3 years ago
I saw a mobo on pc-specs.com that seems to fit my needs, but I don't know if it would fit the case as I don't know the dimensions of the mobo I can fit in the case. Source: about 3 years ago
There are websites that let you configure a build with components you buy and assemble that let you know if any aren't compatible with others. You could use as a guideline. https://buildmypc.net/. Source: 12 months ago
Of course...there's also the risk of something being broken or almost broken. Personally, I'd always buy the parts and build it myself, but some people, old and young, are afraid of venturing into that, and the whole pack might be cheaper than what the buildmypc.net is showing. How I did it. 1. Buy all the components and use an online pc part compatibility checker like buildmypc.net 2. Bring it to my local pc repair shop. 3. Pay the man 80 CAD 4. Pick it up 2 days later. Source: over 1 year ago

I know I still need a power supply (which one should I buy?), do I need something else?, are all my parts compatible? (I checked them on buildmypc.net but some of them weren't available on the site), do you have some advice? Source: over 1 year ago
