Their name was similar to a legit processing company (paymentspring.com) , and I tried to contact the legit company, thinking maybe I could leverage their legal team. I made a few attempts, emails, phone calls, it didn't seem like it stuck. People weren't sure where to direct my request. I know that you're trying to send USD to get GBP, but if you ever find a need to convert from GBP to USD, check out Atlantic Money ( https://atlantic.money/gb/en/ ), as it seems to be cheaper than all options named (Wise, HSBC Global Money, Revolut etc.) (Flat £3 no matter the amount sent).
