It's personal preference so I'm not commenting on it. If "file explorer" by your definition is a window with have multiple columns for displaying file hierarchy, file list of current working directory, and file preview, get Pathfinder (https://cocoatech.com/). To be honest, I'm morally against anymailfinder because I would hate for my email to be on that website. I find ads to be mostly annoying and I feel over marketed towards. I'd rather find some avenue where I know I am providing value in return for getting feedback. Source: almost 3 years ago
