It's more for blogs, but I could easily see it as a weekly goals or to-dos. It could perhaps be a nice medium between you and your spouse. I've never used it but always thought the project was cool! Personally, I feel like nothing happened to Reddit. Communities that I visit are pretty much what they were before Reddit changed its API policies. You could use a personal site and host it in github pages if you don't want to post your content on an existing platform. And since you are interested in computer science, having a personal blog site would add a lot of value in your career.
