Essentially, Deeper Network's smart routing relies on being able to intercept the DNS queries to choose the right tunnel to use. For example, if you are in a country that does not allow Pandora.com (or Pandora is restricted by licensing), you would want to map "pandora.com" to route through a tunnel to a peer in a country that allows it. I use FreeTube also. This is what I am using on my Mac. They have the app for Windows, MacOSx64, and various Linux OSs. No app for iOSs but maybe if we support him he may want to go further. On my Android tablet and phone I am using Grayjay, which also is another alternative. Source: 5 months ago
