  1. The best for small office with 25 computers .

Complete , simple and powerfull , all option for band control included ! But free for only 3 user . I have not found better 20' min for reading instruction, installing and setup for non expert , (3' min for expert ) !

Pan works well for me when I'm on a desktop with a GUI. Otherwise, I still use tin. http://pan.rebelbase.com/. - Source: Hacker News / 6 months ago

Try the good old Pan Newsreader. When you click "Get Headers", you have the choice of the last N days of headers, or just new headers, or All headers, or "Get the latest N Headers", and you can fill in the number. I think "All headers" starts from the oldest, but I could be wrong. Source: about 2 years ago

    > Is there a way to connect (preferable with the ability to post) with it for free? Yep, you can get a free account at https://www.eternal-september.org/ if your ISP doesn't carry newsgroups (note it's for text groups only). Personally, I use Thunderbird as a newsreader (and my ISP still carries most newsgroups), there are also dedicated apps like Pan: http://pan.rebelbase.com/. - Source: Hacker News / about 3 years ago
