My art lover started with art classes on Outschool link. It's not a ton social, but it does help with learning to talk to others in a safe space and doing a fun activity. Outschool also has social clubs where kids and teens can meet up and just chat about certain subjects. If you can't join groups in person, this might be an option to get started. I always make this recommendation when educators post here. Have a look at the Outschool program https://outschool.com it's a remote learning company that I have a niece that teaches through them. I've heard nothing but good about the organization, and it teaches many that cannot attend a regular school. Including many trans children. Source: about 1 year ago
Outschool.com also has some teachers who do orton-gillingham stuff that we tried and we found that useful as well if you think doing it yourself is a bad idea. Source: about 1 year ago

You probably already know that you can program LibreOffice, but as you are asking specifically about an API: I can't comment on LibreOffice's API, sorry, as I've never used it. You might find some help on LibreOffice's forum, or you might be lucky on Ubuntu Forums or Stack Exchange, specifically Unix & Linux. Source: over 1 year ago
