It sure seems most browser makers aren't trying very hard with the WebKit thing to still be themselves. Check out https://browser.kagi.com/ for one that wraps WebKit with web extensions and other goodness in a unique brand feeling browser. - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago
  • Vivaldi Takes a Bite Out of the Apple: Introducing Vivaldi on iOS
Orion is the first browser on iOS that has convinced me to move away from safari. From the Kagi team, and admittedly still in beta, it's fast, rejects telemetry, and allows install of Chrome and Firefox extensions. The built-in pop up and blocking is great, and nukes YT ads too. I'm not satisfied until it supports an OS-agnostic (non-sucky, no thank you 1Password) password... - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago
