There are no shortages of markdown-powered tools out there. Org has a handful of great tools (outside of Emacs). I’d love to see the list grow. Org is so versatile, it can power so many use-cases. Sorry, but _what exactly_ «it seems to do» from your point of view? My «second brain» now is almost 300Mb of text, pictures, sound files, PDF and other stuff.
