I listen to the 2.5 admins podcast. On the episode that came out a few days ago they were talking about RedHat quietly shutting opensource.com (all the contributors have been told no more submissions, but nothing publicly said) but also that RH were about to do some bigger pivoting away from open source in general although they couldn't speak on the record about that meant. Oh, yeah, we had that issue too and solved it pretty successfully with `.editorconfig` (shareable between VScode and IntelliJ, https://editorconfig.org/) combined with `prettier`.
