  • The 20 Game Challenge : Game 1
I got the Music and audio from OpenGameArt.org. If you're interested in using any of it yourself, check out the credits document in my GitHub repository. I have the assets I use linked in there. - Source: dev.to / 19 days ago

  • Does anyone know where I can find some free 2d backgrounds for a bank robbery?
Ive looked on itch.io, gamedevmarket.net, opengameart.org, and r/gameassets but didnt find any. Surely bank robberies are a common enough theme to be some out there somewhere, but I cant find them and I just started so I don't know where else to look tbh. Im also a broke college student so it needs to be a free asset or I cannot afford it lol. Source: 6 months ago

  • LÖVE: a framework to make 2D games in Lua
You might need to dig around a little for animated sprite sheets, but there are plenty of good quality free 2d assets: https://www.kenney.nl/assets https://itch.io/game-assets/free https://opengameart.org/. - Source: Hacker News / 8 months ago

  • Everyone is joking about having hundreds of unplayed games and not going to play them. Why even get them then?
When I get games in a bundle a) which I already own or b) which I am not interested in I create a giveaway on https://steamgifts.com or on https://indiegala.com. Source: about 2 years ago
  • New to gaming >.< advice??
Indiegala.com has a showcase section where you can download free games. Because the galaFreebies are available for a limited time, I just claim them and sort it out later. The only possible negative here is that galaFreebies never have an installer with them. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Leisure Suit Larry - Magna Cum Laude Uncut and Uncensored Available for Free
This 15-year-old classic is currently being given away for free on indiegala.com. The Leisure Suit Larry series was always walking the line between allowed and illegal, so if you are interested in exploring these kinds of edges, follow the source link below to get your legal copy of the game at least.
