  • The 20 Game Challenge : Game 1
I got the Music and audio from OpenGameArt.org. If you're interested in using any of it yourself, check out the credits document in my GitHub repository. I have the assets I use linked in there. - Source: dev.to / 11 days ago

  • Does anyone know where I can find some free 2d backgrounds for a bank robbery?
Ive looked on itch.io, gamedevmarket.net, opengameart.org, and r/gameassets but didnt find any. Surely bank robberies are a common enough theme to be some out there somewhere, but I cant find them and I just started so I don't know where else to look tbh. Im also a broke college student so it needs to be a free asset or I cannot afford it lol. Source: 5 months ago

  • LÖVE: a framework to make 2D games in Lua
You might need to dig around a little for animated sprite sheets, but there are plenty of good quality free 2d assets: https://www.kenney.nl/assets https://itch.io/game-assets/free https://opengameart.org/. - Source: Hacker News / 8 months ago

  • Question about the new regional pricing
But you can try https://isthereanydeal.com/ KEY Stores since they don't do regional pricing, everything priced USD (not MENA-USD) for all countries so Key will be giftable, if there's any for that D2 DLC. Source: 5 months ago
  • Can I secretly make an account for my girlfriend and buy games for her before gifting her a Steam Deck ready to play?
Isthereanydeal doesn't include key resellers at all. I prefer them. Source: 5 months ago
  • What's your current strategy to fight the high Cost of Living?
Even if you buy "new games" you can go to /r/patientgamers and https://isthereanydeal.com/ to get good prices and recommendations. Source: 5 months ago
  • Need help finding Rome 2 on a Disc.
If you cannot find it, fabricate it: you said that a steam activation code will work so get a cd case from a game or a dvd you already own, print a cover and swap it, buy rome 2 on a retailer site (they will all give you a steam activation code) and put the code inside the case; if you also want a prop cd then same story: find an empty cd, print the cd cover, cut it and glue it on the cd. • Where do you get the games? Everyone seems to have an immense backlog
