  • Thinking of going into IT/tech at 40. I worry whether or not I can make it happen
You could get a degree, or you could just learn online tbh. I've heard people have been able to do that too, so long as you're passionate about it. There's plenty of free online college classes for coding like probably something in Yale or harvard. Source: about 1 year ago

  • Winamp 5.9
There's another open-source media player that will let you load up WinAmp skins. But heck if I can remember what it was, or find it. It looks nothing like WinAmp without the skins though... While I was searching, I did find this though. http://qmmp.ylsoftware.com/ QMMP seems to be a QT-based player that looks like WinAmp. And I can't find a WinAmp clone that works on MacOS, either. • Do you Elisa as your Audio Player and what's your UX?
I personally use qmmp which is a generic Qt audio player rather than a KDE specific one. Qmmp comes with two different user interfaces -- the default Winamp/XMMS style and simple UI which is somewhat reminiscent of foobar2000's columns UI, although more simple. I use the simple UI.
