I was in a similar position lately until I found Okular. Have you tried it? https://okular.kde.org/. - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago

KDE's okular might be a good choice. I haven't personally used it for epub but I know it supports it. https://okular.kde.org/. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
I use okular, don't think it has web export though. Source: about 1 year ago
I also use it for its Popular Bookmarks - I subscribed to its RSS feed in NewsBlur and always have something interesting to read when my other feeds are Empty (they rarely are). - Source: dev.to / 7 months ago
There's a bunch of replacements. I like https://newsblur.com but there are 4-6 large-ish similar sites. That said, partially what people miss is the relative cultural hegemony of Google Reader. I start every day with RSS subscriptions using NewsBlur (https://newsblur.com) and Reeder (https://reederapp.com). I've also set up a page so other people can see my subscriptions / what I'm reading: https://sources.werd.io. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
