In our fork for https://oilshell.org/ , and it made a lot more sense to people. It's funny how "sticky" syntax is -- because two contributors ALSO read * as "pointer" ! So I changed into the MyPy syntax after 5 years, and concluded I should have done that quite awhile ago. --- The funny thing is that while the web page says "Abstract Grammar", I would not call Zephyr ASDL a grammar. NodeJS is by no means a slow runtime, it wouldn’t be so popular if it was. But compared to Bun, it’s slow. Bun was built from the ground up with speed in mind, using both JavascriptCore and Zig.
