Homeadvisor.com will let you describe the work you want to do and then contractors will respond. I've had decent luck with this for the smaller, specific jobs. Just be prepared, they often start calling you IMMEDIATELY, so don't submit the request unless you're prepared to spend the next 30 minutes or so talking to the contracting companies.
