I want to support community-based internet like nycmesh.net and peopleschoice.coop but I can't afford dropped zoom meetings or unexpected days of no service from my apartment. Anyone have experience? Ours work just fine......... Never had any issue with connectivity or notifications. If coverage is your issue, look for something like a mesh network for your home rather than a central router and extenders. Source: 10 months ago

New ISP in town looks to have a pretty solid set up. 1gig simetrical for $50/m (plus some freebies like 1Password family, malwarebytes, etc.,) which comes with a https://eero.com "Security WiFi system."
