It is not very cheap to run a node so I doubt that you will be able to find a free one. Try https://nownodes.io/ - WS connection is available for $20. Source: about 1 year ago
Networks section is where you configure the blockchains and networks that you want to deploy. In this case, let's say that we want to deploy on Binance Smart Chain. For this I named this blockchain/network as bsc_testnet. We need to inform an Url of node to the desired BC/Network. I I usually use free nodes for deploy, you can get an free account on this providers(quicknode nownodes). We will need the Private... - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago

One way to do this is have a node running and triggers a script when an event is sent to the chain. There are ways already built up like https://moralis.io/, but then you can get in to the weeds with things like https://docs.prylabs.network/docs/install/install-with-script. Source: 5 months ago
OpenZeppelin's site is good once you become more familiar with what it is you're doing, and I would also strongly recommend you sign up for a free account with Alchemy who offer a super generous amount of tools/features for you to use, and they recently started up their Alchemy academy -- it's still on waitlist right now but if you're wanting to get in, shoot me a reply in this thread and I'll hook you up. ... When it comes to working of this game, it comes down to a web application. Here I've created a Next app using npx create-next-app. Metamask wallet address for user Authentication, this app uses Next.js framework with Moralis SDK and Redis for querying & storing data into Redis cloud. Here game is rendered using HTML5 canvas. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
Does blockchain tech replace the backend? Absolutely...Not 👀 As I said, web3 is an addition, supplementary and will not replace existing tech. In major blockchain applications, getting data from smart contracts can cost time and sometimes fail if the RPC is unresponsive. You would still want a database and API to query data collected from smart contracts from, say, events. Examples: The Graph, Moralis. - Source: dev.to / almost 2 years ago
Infura - Ethereum node as an API
thirdweb - thirdweb is an ecosystem of SDKs, dev tools, and dashboards that help teams build and manage web3 apps. Deploy custom or pre-built contracts to ETH, MATIC, AVAX, & more.
Pocket Network - Pocket provides a trustless API Layer and developer tools, allowing easy access to any blockchain.
GetBlock.io - GetBlock provides developers with instant connection to full nodes of 40+ blockchains. Get access to BTC, ETH, BSC & other networks via API.
Chainstarters - Chainstarters is a powerful, rapid, web3-enabled platform for software developers.
Chainstack - Automates blockchain (Ethereum included) deployment at a much lower price point than Infura, and without native storage.
