Top Six in The 6: Food Delivery Apps
A bit of a twist from the other apps, Ritual focuses on simplifying pick-up orders rather than delivery. This app lets you order and pay for food and drinks from partner restaurants before you even walk through the door. Their “piggyback” option lets you add orders from the same location onto your coworker’s, so you can select and pay for your own lunch while having someone...

Don’t Pass on Snackpass
I was initially confused how the product was gaining so much traction so quickly. It sounded very similar to Ritual — another social network oriented meal ordering app founded in 2014 (3 years before Snackpass was founded). Ritual. Order your food ahead of time, then go pick it up! Usually the same cost as if you went and ordered in person, but skip the waiting time. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Home dining - best takeout options
Firstly, if you don't have an app called Ritual, I'd recommend you download that. It basically functions as a takeout-only app, where you place an order in advance and it will tell you when to show up to pick up your food. The nice thing about Ritual is that in comparison to other apps that offer pickup/takeout (e.g. UberEats), there are no massive markups on the menu items. Back in the heyday of UberEats, they...
